About the position
What you’ll do:
Assist in recruiting activities: draft role descriptions, search for qualified candidates, screen applicants and keep an active pipeline of candidates.
Assist in the onboarding activities: prepare volunteer agreement, train new volunteers.
Represent Mkono at recruiting events such as non-profit fairs at universities.
Organize team events and develop strategies to drive engagement and culture at Mkono.
Work closely and report to the Head of People.
Requirements
What you’ll need:
Ability to work autonomously and hands-on.
Strong interest in social impact, Kenyan culture, entrepreneurship and microfinance.
High attention to detail, impeccable writing, and intellectual curiosity.
Be fluent in English, written and verbal.
2+ years of work experience.
