Want to connect with Canadian community? Interested in meeting new people from varied backgrounds and cultures?
Join CultureLink and Harbourfront Centre in a spring online mentoring program for newcomers!
Harbourfront Centre, a leading arts and culture organization in Toronto is partnering with CultureLink, a leading newcomer settlement organization in Toronto to provide free online social programs to get to know your community and build your network.
How the program operates:

You will attend virtual training sessions and an online meet and greet.
You will actively participate in your circle through weekly online meetings, with the discussion topics to be arranged with your mentoring circle.
Your circle topics can be as varied as practicing English, conversation about each other's culture through art, music, food, celebrations, holidays, virtual tours about Toronto's iconic institutions, festivals, and neighbourhoods, job search and interview techniques, and how to navigate the TTC and GO Transit, etc.
Requirements
What we expect from you:
A commitment of 35 hours (between April through July, 2021) of active participation.
Preparing for your circle meetings by doing the reading, research, activities or other homework your mentor will ask of you.
