We have realized that the majority of Black social service users often struggle and feel overwhelmed. For the majority of Black persons, inter-generational trauma evolving from colonialism, slavery, segregation, and persistent discrimination has led to the distrust of health care and social service system. Our mission is to transform the narratives of Black individuals, and support and empower them as they navigate systems in order to attain positive self-actualization and holistic wellness.
