About the organization
The GCSU is a non-for-profit organization made up of students for students. The GCSU is Local 36 of the Canadian Federation of Students which advocates for student rights, with a deep focus on ensuring education is accessible.
We ensure student voices and concerns are being heard and addressed by promoting campaigns that are relevant to our members. All undergraduate students at Grenfell Campus are automatically a member of the GCSU but we welcome anyone to engage in our events in whichever capacity is best suited for them.
Impact
This position allows for students to know their concerns are not only being heard, but being taken seriously. We voice the concerns and encourage action for change. With this position, we can promote the messages of our members further, and advocate for appropriate actions to be taken to resolve the concerns we have.
